FanBand is an application designed for musicians that allows your live audience to purchase mp3 files directly from a laptop at your show, in a checkout interface.  Display your laptop running the FanBand application at your merchandise table, and people who just heard your song can get the song right there without having to have an iPod with them.

Relying solely on a fans email address or a cell phone number, FanBand automatically sends download links or mp3 files to your new fan, when they make a purchase at the show. Songs can also be sold for free.

The fan can also receive your upcoming show information with MapQuest links along with their purchase. You also gain the benefit of receiving the fans email address or cell phone number (for text messages), Facebook, MySpace information, and keep 100% cash profits without the need of your live audience buying only physical merchandise at your shows.

There is no need for your fans to bring iPods to shows, no need for them to type a coupon code into a website; once they get home all they need to do is check their email address or download the link from their phone.
